If you're looking for a venue that really captures the spirit of live music in St. Louis, the Old Rock House is it. This place has a cool vibe with a mix of modern and vintage charm, nestled among a patchwork of old and new buildings downtown. During warmer months, it kicks into high gear with a packed schedule of outdoor shows and local record launches that draw a lively crowd. They really know how to cater to different tastes, hosting themed nights that spotlight everything from indie to classic rock, and even special events for local charities. The seating options are pretty versatile too, whether you want front-row adrenaline with acts like Matt Jordan, or prefer a more relaxed vibe in the VIP sections with Josh Garrels, there's something for everyone. And hey, if accessibility matters, the venue’s got you covered with special needs seating so nobody misses out.
